The Central Golden Hall was reconstructed in 2018, it's both Kofukuji’s newest building and the most important structure in the temple complex.
Wheelchair is accessible to enter the complex but there is a slightly steep uphill from Kintetsu Nara Station and the entire precinct is a gravel road, making it difficult for wheelchairs to pass.
