Sendai City Museum, surrounded by lush greenery, houses around 98,000 items. These include Important Cultural Properties such as warlord Masamune Date’s armor and battle coat, as well as materials related to Sendai's history, culture, and fine arts. Approximately 1,000 items are displayed in the permanent exhibition, with special and themed exhibitions held throughout the year. Please see below for information in English.
