A World Heritage site that dates from the 7th century, Yakushiji is one of Japan's oldest temples. Though many of the structures have been rebuilt after fires, the East Pagoda is a National Treasure that has survived through eras. The temple is broken into two parts, the main complex and Genjo-sanzoin Garan. Please see below for information in English.
