Byodo-in Temple

Byodo-in Temple is one of Japan’s most recognized historic structures and it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994.
​
This famously beautiful temple is mostly barrier-free and easily accessible to wheelchair users. We recommend Byodo-in temple for a sunny day. Please see below for information in English on the temple.
