How to Book a Tour with ​Japan Guide Agency

Are you thinking of booking a tour with Japan Guide Agency but not sure how?
Take a look before for the steps on how to enjoy your tour!

Step1: Finding a Tour
Search for your tour from Japan Guide Agency website and select your destination. 
​There are more than 100 tours available throughout Japan!

• Booking cut-off period is different for each tour.
• For Guided Tours with Vehicle, we only accept booking at least 5 days before the tour date.
• For Walking Tours, we only accept booking at least 2 days before the tour date. However, some tours have an earlier cut-off period, so please check our website.
• Credit card is required at the time of booking.
• All tours are fully refundable if cancelled at least 1 day before the tour date and also in the unfortunate case that a guide is unavailable.​

Step2: Greeting email from JGA
Once you book the tour, we will send you a greeting e-mail.
*Please note that the tour is not yet confirmed at this point. Your tour is only confirmed once a guide has accepted your tour.

Once a guide has accepted your tour, we will contact you with their details.
In the unfortunate case that a guide is unavailable, we will inform you with the latest status within 7 days.

If you have booked a Guided Tour with Vehicle but no guide has accepted your tour 5 days before the tour date, we will cancel your booking.
If all cars are fully booked but your guide is already decided, you may either:

1. Cancel your tour. We will provide you with a full refund.
2. Switch to a walking tour. If you would like to keep your guide and change to a walking tour, please contact us.

Step3: Contact Your Guide
Once your guide is confirmed, we will e-mail you with the tour guide's contact information. Please start communicating with your guide to confirm your meeting point and discuss your tour itinerary. You will discuss what sites to visit with your guide at this stage. The sites you can choose from are listed under the Itinerary tab on the tour page. Please note that we cannot plan your tour through the booking information email.

Step 4: Enjoy Your Tour
Meet your guide at a pre-arranged location and enjoy your day!

Step 5: Write a Review on TripAdvisor
​We will send you an e-mail asking to write a review on TripAdvisor.
We kindly ask for your cooperation since your review will encourage the guide.
