Chuguji Temple was built by Prince Shotoku for his mother. After her death it was converted into a temple. It was restored and converted to a nunnery. Since there is no accessible restroom it may be best to use it before visiting and we recommend this temple for a sunny day. The temple is not accessible for most visitors that have needs or that have walking difficulties. Please see below for information in English on the temple.
