Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park was built close to the center of the explosion. After a walk through the wide park, head over to the museum which has relics from the time of the atomic explosion on display.

13:30 pm Itsukushima Shrine at Miyajima
Visit the World Heritage site of Itsukushima Shrine with the mysterious red torii gate that stands in the middle of the sea. After arriving at Miyajima Island by high-speed ferry, it takes about 10 minutes on foot to reach the shrine.
