This famously beautiful shrine is near Osaka Castle. Hokoku Shrine is dedicated to the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi (one of the three unifiers of Japan in the 16th century) and his loyal aid Kato Kiyomasa.Hokoku Shrine is good for a sunny day. For wheelchairs users some of the stone pathways and loose gravel will make travel difficult but over all the shrine is accessible.
