Isuien is a beautiful Japanese garden and Isuien means "garden founded on water", and the garden's name is derived from the fact that its ponds are fed by the small adjacent Yoshikigawa River. The main garden is not accessible to wheelchair users due to gravel paths and stepping stones, however the Neiraku Museum that is accessible. Japanese cafe restaurant Mitsuhide has a nice garden view. We recommend Isuien Garden for a sunny day. Please see below for information in English on the garden.
