Nishiki Market is a narrow shopping street, known as "Kyoto's Kitchen". It is a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. It is a great place to find seasonal foods and Kyoto specialties, such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi. This market street is mostly barrier-free and easily accessible to wheelchair users. However, there are no restrooms or parking spaces for those with special needs.
