In front of Harajuku Station is Takeshita Dori street. It is the heart of Harajuku fashion and fun. It is about 400m long narrow street lined with sweets shops, accessory shops, cafes, and many more. The area is very popular and can be very crowded on weekends. The crowds can make it impossible to transverse with a wheelchair or those with disabilities. The start of the street has a very steep slope.
