Tenryu-ji is a major Rinzai Zen temple in Arashiyama district.This famously beautiful temple is mostly barrier-free and easily accessible to wheelchair users. We recommend Tenryuji temple for a sunny day. Tenryuji Temple is the most important temple in Kyoto's Arashiyama district. It was ranked first among the city's five great Zen temples, and is now registered as a world heritage site.
